In Honor Of Dad: Some agebuzz Recommendations For Father’s Day Gifts
June 9, 2021
Whether for your own father, your children’s dad, or your grandchildren’s Pop-Pop, there’s likely a man in your life who should be celebrated this coming Father’s Day, June 20th. Just as we did for Mother’s Day, we’ve got some great recommendations for ways to celebrate your guy while keeping in mind health, well-being, and budget (and you can always find a wider array of recommended products on our agebuzz recommends page). So, for that Dad in your life:
Exercise: Beyond the equipment, classes, and hydration aids we’ve previously recommended for women (that have equal benefit for men), you may want to indulge your Dad with a fun game of Bocce, which brings together exercise, social activity, strategic thinking, and hand-eye coordination all in one fun outdoor activity. With its own carrying case and reasonable price, you’ll have a full afternoon of activity for the whole family. So grab your bocce ball and click here. And if the day’s activities wear your dad out and you want to provide him some deep relief, why not throw in a deep tissue massager gun as well.
Clothing and Accessories: Forget about ties- no one wears them anymore. But a basic Timex watch? Now that’s a timeless and elegant gift. It’s got an easy-to-read dial even if he forgets his glasses and there will never be any jokes about out-of-style fashion accessories. And speaking of style- nothing spells style (and invokes President Biden) better than a pair of polarized aviator sunglasses- either original Ray-Bans or an imitation (but less pricey) pair. And while you’re shielding his eyes from the sun, make sure he’s got a great sun hat to protect his head and neck as well- try the EINSKEY sun hat for men with UV protection and waterproof fabric.
Tech, Tools, and Gadgets: You’ll be a favorite of his when you gift him this Eterluck wooden docking station, to keep his tech items organized, charged, and available to start each day. Or, if he’s a do-it-yourself kind of guy, consider this cool magnetic wristband for keeping nails, screws, and drill bits close at hand and off the floor. If he likes his tech to be all about self-care, then nothing beats a deep tissue, heated electric neck and shoulder massager that can also drill down on sore back and leg muscles.
For Those Grill Guys: If your guy takes charge of the grill each summer, set him up for success with his own new GRILLART BBQ Grill Utensil Tools Set. And to relieve him of the messy clean-ups that follow, consider purchasing the Grillbot automatic grill cleaning robot, so that no one will be dreading the awful chore of grill scrubbing- it’s like a Roomba for your grill! Finally, because he’s your sweetheart, in one way or another, throw in some Mike’s Hot Honey to make your grill celebration sweet and spicy.
And Happy Father’s Day to all our agebuzz readers!
