Just published in EBioMedicine, a publication of The Lancet, researchers from the University of Minnesota and The Mayo Clinic have discovered that fisetin, a molecule naturally occurring in apples, strawberries, onions, and cucumbers, works to destroy aging senescent cells in our body, which accumulate and cause inflammation and tissue damage as they build up in older people.
