Being a caregiver is no laughing matter. But don’t tell that to Jesus Trejo, an up-and-coming comedian and the star of the new documentary, “Care To Laugh.” Developed by AARP studios, a new media entity from AARP that is developing shows for various platforms, the movie follows the day-to-day life and career path of Trejo, a young Californian, who cares for his aging parents by day and attempts to hone his comedic skills at night by performing live comedy in LA. An only child who lives with his parents, we see Jesus being a loving son and taking his parents to various doctor’s appointments and then gently and sweetly making audiences laugh at the predicament in which he and his parents find themselves. You may not know whether to laugh or cry, but clearly, Jesus is a very talented and funny performer, as you can see from the clip of his recent appearance on the James Corden show here.
